I am a proud resident of Woodstock, Georgia, I’ve built my life here with my wife, Kimberly, of 20 years, and our three wonderful children, aged 17, 13, and 10. All in local CCSD schools.
My commitment to community and public service runs deep, rooted in a family tradition; my aunt served as a police officer, and my grandad was a dedicated firefighter. This spirit of service was instilled early, as my parents were deeply involved in our community (PTA/Scouts/Sports). My own volunteering began as a teenager delivering meals with Meals on Wheels. Joined the Scouts, a path that led to me earning my Eagle Scout rank. Today, I continue that dedication through active volunteering and leadership in Scouts BSA, including with the PTA where I serve as a Vice President(ET Booth) and on Spirit wear committee(Etowah).
I work as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer and Team Lead. If you’re not familiar with this, it’s a job that requires depth of knowledge of the subject matter and reaching out to departments to solve problems. Cyber Security ensures that companies and customers are protected from threats to service.
When I’m not focused on community service or working on my cars, I enjoy the simple pleasures of life; cheering on football teams, listening to music, following baseball, and appreciating nature through bird watching and other outdoor activities. My belief in continuous learning, solidified by earning my Master in Business Technology degree from UGA, fuels this dedication, and I bring that same commitment to every aspect of my life.
